Entry 17: Events change your life

In jail and in quarantine, people always say, “Just wait until you get to prison. Your time will fly by.” But I’ve never wanted time to fly by. Time flying by is the entire reason I got into selling drugs.

  1. Hey man, this is fantastic stuff. I’m just embarking on felony probation after a bit of jail. I also became more or less disabled right before finding out pops has cancer. Your writing is striking a hell of a chord with me. I’m embarrassed to admit that I relate most of all to the sudden destitution brought about by the penal (correctional is a misnomer) system so I can’t buy your product at present. I am working on starting a podcast though, and I would absolutely love if you’d consider collaborating and/or hosting with me. You have my email now if you’d like to talk further.

  2. I was linked to your story through reddit.

I spend some years of my own in prison, possession charges (luckily I got distribution dropped). Your story really resonated with me; the love you have for your father is so beautiful. I’m so sorry you lost him.

I was in and out of prison for much of my 20s. I’ve been out now since 2012. Been clean since 2013. I work hard a legit job now which I absolutely love, and am so grateful for. You know it’s not easy when you have a background.

Anyway I hope you spend the rest of your time working on yourself and trying to plan out your future. I know it will be bright. You are clearly intelligent and a thoughtful, loving person. You’re going to do great! ❤️

  3. I’ve read all of your entries 1-17. They are great! You have a very good way with words. Anyways my issue….I don’t have an amazon acct. Nor do I own a kindle….so what can I do to keep reading them. I am fine with paying to read them…

    1. You’d have to create an amazon account. You don’t need a kindle. You can read them from any type of reader.
If you don’t want to do that. Within a week, I should have a printed book. It will have posts 1-50, plus a glossary.
I’ll be able to sell that here and ship worldwide.

  4. I am enjoying your writings and wish you all the best. My husband is about to go to prison for 20 months and I’m terrified for him. I know that anything could happen in there.

    1. I am putting them on Amazon, ebook. Print within a week (fingers crossed), audio book one I have a hundred typed and ready. Here are the links to the ebooks. The first one has the first 20 posts (although I’ll be adding a different 20 soon), the next one has posts 21-60, so near two-hundred pages of posts. If you download one, or even if you don’t, please leave me a review on Amazon. I’m not sure they are being processed. I got three the first day, not one since…???
      Regardless, thanks for the interest.
